I'm a Language teacher at the university level in Oklahoma. Being a transplant from NYC, there are many things I'm getting used to here, but having to find an extra job during intersession’s is one of the least pleasant.
I think most teachers look forward to breaks. It gives us time to write, read, and re-plan for the next semester. On Friday afternoon I'll be roaming the mall for a seasonal job. The slight bitterness I feel at the prospect of hitting the application pavement... No comments
